Ages: 13-18 Description: With an artist’s eye, we will grow in a deeper understanding of the elements of art and design as we examine the remarkable creatures God has created. Psalm 104:24-25 God gave each of us a creative instinct. We will use class time to create new pieces that showcase the talents our Heavenly Father has given each of us. This class will be completing numerous compositions in a variety of mediums with a strong emphasis on the elements of art and the principles of design. In examining God’s creation we will be growing our “right brain” and training our eyes to see line and form in space. This skill will translate to growth in our artistic abilities as we put “pen” to paper. Our greatest desire is to challenge each art student' right where they are at! All lessons will be geared to your child’s age group as well as skill level.
